Solar Panels Installed at North Beach
 

As part of our “green” learning center project at the North Beach Pavilion area, the Sandy Hook Foundation has funded the installation of solar panels on one building in the pavilion. The panels and accompanying digital performance monitor will indicate how much power is being generated thereby educating visitors about the usage of alternate forms of energy. An exhibit for the public is mounted detailing the conversion process of solar energy to electricity, thereby educating visitors about the usage of this alternate form of energy.
